How long does a Shopify migration take?
Most projects launch in 6 to 12 weeks. Retail POS moves with a few locations often take four to eight weeks. You get a dated plan after the audit, before any build work starts.
Will I lose my sales history when I move to Shopify POS?
No. We migrate products, variants, customers, stock levels and order history into Shopify, then compare the migrated data with your old system and show you before you go live.
Can I keep selling while the migration happens?
Yes. We build and test the new store alongside your current one, then switch you over at a time you choose, usually outside trading hours, with a rollback plan ready.
What Shopify POS hardware do I need?
A single counter usually needs a card reader, a receipt printer and a cash drawer. Busier shops and multiple locations tend to need POS terminals and barcode scanners. We specify it for your setup and configure it before it arrives.
Do you set up Shopify POS Lite or POS Pro?
Both. Most retailers with more than one staff member or location need POS Pro for staff permissions, stock transfers and retail reports. We tell you which fits before you commit to the cost.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. After the audit we send a written scope with a fixed price. Anything new you ask for during the project is quoted separately before we do it.
